Privacy policy

Effective date: October 13, 2026

Core 4 Solutions ("Core 4," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit www.core4solutions.com (the "Site"), shop with us, request a quote, or sell equipment to us (together, the "Services"), how we use and share that information, and the choices you have.

By using the Site or our Services, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

1. Information We Collect

Information you provide to us

  • Contact and inquiry information: name, company name, job title, email address, phone number, mailing address, and the content of messages you send through our contact forms, email, or phone.

  • Account information: if you create an account, we collect your name, email address, password, account preferences, and order history.

  • Order and billing information: billing and shipping addresses, purchase details, and payment information. Payment card details are processed by our third-party payment processors; we do not store full card numbers on our systems.

  • Quote and sourcing requests: details about your equipment, infrastructure, and project needs that you share when requesting quotes or scheduling a call with our team.

  • Equipment you sell to us: information about equipment you sell or send to us, plus the contact and payment details we need to evaluate it and pay you.

  • Marketing preferences: your email address and preferences when you sign up for hardware updates or other communications.

Information collected automatically

When you visit the Site, we and our service providers may automatically collect:

  • Device and usage data: IP address, browser type, operating system, referring URLs, pages viewed, links clicked, and the dates and times of your visits.

  • Cookies and similar technologies: small files and tags that help the Site function (for example, keeping items in your cart and keeping you signed in), remember your preferences, measure site performance, and support advertising. See Section 5 for more.

Information from other sources

We may receive information about you from business partners, marketplaces where we sell (such as eBay), shipping carriers, payment processors, data enrichment providers, and publicly available sources such as professional networking sites.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Process and fulfill orders, including payment, shipping, returns, and warranty claims;

  • Create and manage your account;

  • Respond to inquiries, provide quotes, and schedule calls with our sales team;

  • Evaluate, purchase, and process equipment you sell to us;

  • Send transactional messages such as order confirmations and shipping notices;

  • Send marketing communications, such as new inventory alerts, where permitted by law;

  • Operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Site and our Services;

  • Measure the effectiveness of our advertising and understand how visitors use the Site;

  • Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents; and

  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.

3. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information for money. We may share information with:

  • Service providers that perform services on our behalf, such as our e-commerce platform (Shopify), CRM and marketing tools (HubSpot), meeting scheduling (Calendly), payment processing, shipping and logistics, email delivery, analytics, and advertising. They may use your information only to provide services for us.

  • Professional advisors such as accountants, auditors, and lawyers.

  • Legal and safety recipients when we believe disclosure is required by law, subpoena, or other legal process, or is needed to protect the rights, property, or safety of Core 4, our customers, or others.

  • Business transfer recipients in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of all or part of our business.

  • Others with your consent or at your direction.

4. Data on Equipment Sent to Us

When you send us hardware, you are responsible for backing up any data you wish to keep. We handle incoming storage media according to industry-standard data sanitization and destruction practices and do not access, use, or disclose data found on received equipment except as necessary to securely erase or destroy it. Certificates of data destruction may be available on request.

5. Cookies, Analytics, and Advertising

We use cookies and similar technologies, including tools provided by third parties such as Google (Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, and Google Ads conversion tracking), LinkedIn (LinkedIn Insight Tag), and HubSpot. These tools help us understand how visitors use the Site and measure and improve our advertising, which may include showing you Core 4 ads on other websites and platforms based on your visits to our Site.

The Site may also include embedded content, such as YouTube videos, and links to our social media pages (for example, LinkedIn). Those providers may collect information about your interaction with their content under their own privacy policies.

Your choices

  • Most browsers let you block or delete cookies. If you disable cookies, some parts of the Site, such as the shopping cart and account login, may not work properly.

  • You can opt out of personalized advertising through your Google ad settings (myadcenter.google.com) and your LinkedIn advertising preferences.

  • Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" signal. Because there is no uniform standard for these signals, the Site does not currently respond to them. Where required by applicable law, we honor recognized opt-out preference signals such as Global Privacy Control.

6. Data Retention

We keep personal information for as long as needed to fulfill the purposes described in this policy, including maintaining business, tax, and accounting records, supporting warranties, resolving disputes, and meeting legal obligations. When information is no longer needed, we delete or de-identify it.

7. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information, including encrypted (SSL/TLS) connections for data transmitted through the Site. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for keeping your account password confidential.

8. Your Choices and Rights

  • Account information: you can review and update your account information at any time by signing in to your account.

  • Marketing emails: you can unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in any message or by contacting us. We may still send transactional messages about your orders or account.

  • Access, correction, and deletion: depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or a copy of your personal information, and to opt out of targeted advertising or certain other uses. To make a request, contact us using the details below. We may need to verify your identity before responding, and you may use an authorized agent where permitted by law. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights. If we deny your request, you may appeal by replying to our decision.

9. Children's Privacy

The Site and our Services are intended for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18 years of age. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

10. International Visitors

Core 4 is based in the United States, and we process and store information in the United States. If you access the Site or place an order from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your country.

11. Third-Party Websites

The Site may link to websites and services we do not operate, including manufacturer sites, marketplaces, and social media platforms. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties, and we encourage you to review their privacy policies.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date at the top of this page and, where the changes are significant, provide additional notice as required by law. Your continued use of the Site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
